Jane Dowling, from Fitness for Every Body, has designed an intense 30 minute workout specifically for time poor men, wanting to be one step closer to the ultimate Bond body.

The 'Shaken not Stirred' Power Plate class is designed to build, strengthen and tone. Classes are tailored according to each person’s fitness level and body shape, focussing on specific targets. Whether it’s to shape that six-pack or toughen those guns Power Plate can help to realise a variety of fitness goals.

The Power Plate vibrates between 25 and 50 times per second, which means a 30 minute class is equivalent to an hour and a half in the gym. Many of the benefits of the Power Plate are valuable as they can enhance performance in a wide range of sports including football, snowboarding, tennis, swimming and even golf.

Having spent the past thirteen years personal training the rich and famous, including a number of years in medical rehabilitation, Jane takes a very holistic approach to her work. She is also a keen advocate of healthy living and provides nutritional and lifestyle advice to her clients.

Jane comments: “There is a strong misconception that the Power-Plate can be an ‘easy’ alternative to spending hours at the gym, which is not the case at all. If used properly, the Power-Plate is actually a very efficient way to improve body performance and appearance – especially for professionals with very little spare time on their hands.”

The ‘Shaken not Stirred’ classes are now running at specified times, Monday – Saturday. Classes must be booked in advance.
